In what has become an annual Thanksgiving tradition for Level One Training and Fitness, a group of individuals will rise bright and early on Thanksgiving morning and gather at the base of Cowles Mountain. The ascent up this 1,594′ peak is considered easy to moderately difficult.

Located on the eastern edge of the City of San Diego in Mission Trails Regional Park, views from the summit include the Coronado Islands to the west, Tijuana, MX to the south, Mt. Laguna to the east, and Mt. Palomar and the San Bernardino Mountains to the north.

Join us at 6:00am on Thanksgiving morning at the Barker Way Trailhead. Bring your good energy, water, dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots, and share in some fun and laughter on the trek up!
